Athletes for all classes after the Introductory Lesson must be an Access or Competitive member of the USA Fencing, the national governing body of our sport.   Visit member.usafencing.org for more information. This membership must be renewed with USFA in July of each year.

INTRODUCTORY LESSONS - LEARN TO FENCE!!

Our Introductory Lesson teaches students the basics of the sport of fencing. Students will learn a brief history of the sport, basic rules, safety practices, introductory footwork, and see all 3 weapons the sport of fencing has to offer. Students will have the opportunity to deck themselves out in gear and work one-on-one with a coach at their own pace to learn the basics. By the end of the lesson, students are ready to take the next step into one of our group classes!

Introductory lessons are 40 minutes long and are 1-on-1 or 2-on-1 with a coach. The cost is $60 per person and includes equipment rental. Students are required to wear gym clothes (shorts/sweats and sneakers) and suggested to bring a water bottle.
