July 14-18
Intermediate Camp for All three weapons
Ages: 10 and up
Full Day 9:00am-3:00pm

Designed for students who have prior fencing experience. This camp is geared toward fencers who want to improve upon the basic skills they have already developed.  Emphasis is on footwork, tactical games, drills and open fencing.  Acceptable for Fencers of all levels and all weapons  a mini-tournament for all participants.

  • Refrigeration is available for lunch and snacks.
  • Camp culminates in a tournament
  • Sleep-away might be available call for details
  • Cost : $390 non-members
  • Cost: $350 members  

August 11th – Aug. 15th
Introductory Camp

Ages: 7 - 18
Half Day 9-11:30am
 

Designed for student who has no prior fencing experience. Students will learn the basics of the sport of fencing, including footwork, games, stretching and weapon work in all 3 weapons. Camp culminates in a mini-tournament for all participants. All equipment provided. Refrigeration is available for snacks.

Cost : $195

August 11th – Aug. 15th
Squire Camp

Ages: 7 - 10
Half Day 9-11:30am

 
Designed for student who has had prior fencing experience. Students will learn the basics of the sport of fencing, including footwork, games, stretching and weapon work in foil. Camp culminates in a mini-tournament for all participants. Some Equipment Available Refrigeration is available for snacks.

Cost : $195

August 4-8
Competitive Sabre Camp.
Guest Coach Wes Glon, coaches at Penn State, which won their 10th National Championship this year; named the U.S. Olympic Coach for 1992 & 1996 teams, and has coached many national champions and Olympians.

Past coaches include Luther Clement (currently ranked in top 8 Div. I Sabre Nationally), Terrence Lasker ( 5 time National Champion, Assistant Coach Ohio State University), Vitali Nazlymov (NCAA Sabre Champion), Mikhail Momtselidze (Junior World Bronze medalist), Stephanie Tam (3-Time NCAA Sabre All American)

August 18-22th
Competitive Epee Camp
For the second year Kornel Udvarhelyi will be coaching. He is the US & Hungarian National Team Coach, Kornel has coached Cadet and Junior World Champions.

Past coaches include Brendan Baby ( 2004 & 2006 Div. I Nationals Epee Finalist), Kasha Trotkpek ( 2X NCAA Champion), Kornel Udvarhelyi (National Epee Team Coach, Coach NYU)

August 25- 29th
Competitive Foil Camp : Featuring Guest Coach Buckie Leach.
Buckie is an internationally renowned foil coach. He’s coached countless National Champions at all levels, National Team Members and multiple members of the United States Olympic Foil Team.

All Competitive Camps

  • Time: 9am – 3pm (with competitive bouting at night)
  • For the competitive fencer. Must have at least one year of competitive experience. This camp will provide students with advanced foil drills, competitive/ tactical discussions, on-strip feedback to specific bouting situations, and advanced footwork and conditioning exercises. It is designed to develop the serious, competitive fencer.
  • Participants must have full working set of electrical equipment. Some equipment available for rent upon request. “Sleepaway” campers will be provided with 3 meals a day. Day Campers can also purchase meals upon request.
  • Cost for Day Campers: Members - $350
  • Cost for Non-members: $ 400
  • Cost for Sleep Away Campers : $700
